Adversary 2, Me 0!!

Sunday's are suppose to be the best day of the week...but lately I have been struggling with getting up for church. The last couple of Sunday's I have been sick so that's understandable that I haven't been going to church!!! But missing those few weeks got me into a routine of not getting up and going...well lets be honest with one another...I'm just too lazy to get up and get ready for church...I think I might need a calling...NOT! Another thing I have been struggling with is going to Relief Society only because Nicholas is so young and makes trouble with all the ladies in there that don't have little kids. It's just a little frustrating.
Another way the Adversary is working against me is giving me really bad dreams at night...as you all know Nick is leaving in May for Boot Camp and AIT for a total of 9 Months. It scares me to death. So the other night I was woken up in a dead sweat fearing for Nick's life...so I woke up feeling Nick to see if he was still warm and breathing. I have never been so scared in my life! The thing is that I know this decision to be an ARMY family is the right choice because Heavenly Father has shown us in many different ways that it's the right decision.
My goal starting today right this moment is to make it a point to go to church every Sunday, go to the Temple at least two times in the month, read my scriptures, and fully ermerse myself with the spirit...NO MATTER WHAT! To make our family a gospel family. To live our lives as righteously as possible.

What's Happening!!!

Well in the last six months a lot has happened!!! Nicholas has started crawling, gotten two teeth, and started standing up in furniture and walking around them. He is really fast getting from one end of the house to the other crawling...He just started pulling everything off the shelves in his room and the living room. His favorite place in the house is in the kitchen. He especially loves climbing on the dishwasher and playing with the clean dishes while I'm trying to put them away. He also gets into my pots and pans cupboard and pulls all of them out. he also loves playing with my vacuum so hopefully he will be good at helping me clean in the future!!! He's a very happy little boy. I can't believe that next month he will be turning the big 1...it seems that the time has flown by.

WERE IN THE ARMY NOW! In other big news Nick is going into the Army...he leaves in May for boot camp! I'm trying my hardest to stay strong and not break down every time I think about him leaving us for Nine months...Yes, count them nine whole months that 36 weeks that we won't see him on a regular basis. I know that the only reason he is doing this is to better our living situation and to provide for his family but I'm really scared being without him. He will be greatly miss by everyone here. I know heavenly father will provide for us while he is gone. I'm so proud of him for the choices he has made for our family and I have faith in him that it's for the best.

As for me I got my gallbladder taken out on Valentines day this year! Best V-day present ever...if only it didn't cost me 21,000 dollars for that present. But on the plus side I was doped up for a couple of days.

For Thanksgiving we went to Kansas...it was a blast! I loved spending time with Nick's parents Nick and Terry! They are so kind and warm. They opened up there home to us...even though their house scares me at night because it practically pitch dark and you have to walk like 20 miles to get to the bathroom. But it was really fun. I especially got close to his older sister over the last couple months. Nick feels like he's getting old now since his littlest sister has her permit...I told him news flash you are getting old. We both are never going stop having birthdays.

In my family we have welcomed two new additions to our family on October 25, 2010 my niece Ella was born to my Brother Eric and his Wife Maggie. She is the cutest little girl ever...she takes after me!!! Our other addition is Lexis my great-niece was born on November 5, 2010 another little cutie. On nick's side of the family we got rid of Lizzy and sent her on a mission...to Siberia. Not really Siberia but close, Minneapolis, MN. Needless to say she's freezing her butt off literally. No she's loving it! We have three new additions to our house hold. My Niece Ashley and her two little girls Bailee and Lexis came to live with us until she gets back on her feet... I like it because when Nick leaves I'll have someone in this big house to keep me company and mostly to keep me company and help me not to go insane. To have big people talk...yay!

Baby Ella and Nicky! Bailee(4) Lexis(2 Months)

Well right now we are preparing for Nick's departure and little Nicky's First Birthday! I can't wait for his 1st birthday....Nick's departure I can wait for. But my thinking is the sooner he leaves the sooner he gets back!!! Well that our lives up until right now!!
